Chess

A full game against the computer on three levels, or against a friend on the same screen. Tap a piece to see where it can go, then tap the square.

Moves

Tap or click a piece; the squares it can move to light up. Tap one of them to move. Pawns reaching the last rank become queens.

Against the computer, “Take back” undoes your last move and the reply. Change level or colour at any time — it starts a fresh game.

With a friend on the same screen, both sides are played by hand; “Flip board” turns it round for the other player.
